Hiking
To explore Sardinia's wild and coastal trails, nothing beats an app like AllTrails, Sardegna Sentieri, or Komoot. Before heading into the hinterland or up to the cliffs, always download your route locally (offline mode) because cell service may be unavailable in gorges and mountainous areas.

Snorkeling
The submerged statue of Christ at Torre delle Stelle is located off the coast of Genn'e Mari beach. To find it, walk along the rocks on the right side of the beach until you spot a white buoy.
The spot is ideal for observing sea bream, octopuses, and sometimes moray eels in the crystal-clear waters.
Boat trips
Boat rentals in Genn'e Mari are handled directly by Palm Beach Bar & Services, the iconic beach club located on Torre delle Stelle beach. On-site, you can easily rent several types of boats:
- Inflatable boats (Gommoni): often limited to 40 horsepower, these can be rented without a boating license,
- Paddleboards, canoes, pedal boats, surfboards, and windsurf boards.
Alternative: If you would like a larger boat, a catamaran, or a skippered excursion, the nearest and best-equipped departure point is the port of Villasimius (approximately 17 km to the east, a 25-minute drive) or the Cagliari marina.
